Gaza faces deliberate shortage of aid - UN

The head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency in Gaza, complained that they are facing a shortage of humanitarian aid in order to end the agency's work in Gaza.

Philippe Lazzarini told the UN Hall in New York that false information about the agency is being spread to the donors with whom the agency manages its work.

Mr. Lazzarini added that disrupting the work of the agency will cause the collapse of humanitarian activities in Gaza.

He said that doing so is like sacrificing the entire community of children who have been created on the basis of hatred and violence in the future.

Israel was unable to provide detailed information on the allegations it made to the agency in January, of the hand of 11 of its officials in the attack launched by Hamas on Israel on October 7 last year.
