 Sierra Leone will punish those who steal the bones of the dead to make drugs

The authorities of Sierra Leone have announced plans to deploy special forces to protect the country's cemeteries, especially in Freetown, the country's government house, after the brutality of breaking graves and stealing body parts of the dead.

Under the laws imposed by the Sierra Leone authorities, special security officers will be deployed in the cemeteries from 7 pm until dawn tomorrow.

According to reports, the grave breakers are extracting the bones of the dead to make an intoxicant they call kush which is a substitute for marijuana.

A senior officer in the agency that manages cemeteries in Freetown, who asked to remain anonymous, confirmed the incident to the AFP news agency where he said that most of the thieves use the darkness of the night to commit the crime.

Although AFP has not been able to get confirmation of this from those dealing with the Kush virus, the problem of alcoholism continues to worsen in the country of Sierra Leone in West Africa.

In the recent past, the authorities of the country have tightened the measures to combat the consumption and trafficking of drugs, especially marijuana, which is considered to be the cause of the problem of breaking into cemeteries to remove the bones of the people.
