 Sudan has agreed to receive aid from neighboring countries


The military government that is in power in Sudan said that it will allow aid to enter Chad and South Sudan.


The government has banned the delivery of aid to Chad, accusing the United Arab Emirates and the UAE of using convoys of aid vehicles and supplying weapons to the RSF. The UAE has denied the allegations.


Clementine Nkweta-Salami, MDD University in Sudan said that the move is welcome and will help to deliver aid to people who are in dire need.


Ms Salami added that the government has agreed to open air routes to deliver humanitarian aid to Fasher, Kadugli and El Obeid.


Thousands of people have died, about eight million have died in the conflict that has been going on for more than ten months between the forces that do not see eye to eye with each other in Sudan.


The United Nations Food Program, WFP said the war in Sudan could push many people into starvation if it is not stopped.
