On the 3rd of April, 14 people were arrested with 177 bottles of wine and a bag full of burkutu in Gumel local government of the state.
1,249 bottles of wine and 143 empty bottles of wine were also arrested, except for a car that he said owned the wine in Dutse, the capital of the state.
The board thanked the people of Jigawa state for their cooperation especially in ensuring compliance with Hisbah laws.
