Selma Blair Celebrates Son Arthur's 14th Birthday as She Says He Makes Her 'Whole Life' Seem to 'Sing'

The 53-year old actress celebrated the 14th birthday of her son Arthur with the help of a bunch of retrospective photos on Instagram on July 25, Friday.  The freshly turned 14-year-old was photographed driving a motorbike, going to the beach, walking by a horse and posing with his mother.

Another beautiful video was shared of friends sitting around a lighted chocolate cake to sing Arthur good birthday.

Happy 14 th birthday, Arthur. 🎂🤍♥️.  According to her caption, Blair wrote, "I am so proud to be your mother."  And when you laugh, It seems to me that All my life sings.  You are what we live to think of.  We do love you.  Gratitude you are Arthur Saint.  P.S. You are the funniest and cutest thing."

Blair has a son, Sonny Christian with her ex Jason Bleick.

Though Blair is very famous because of her presence in movies like, Legally Blonde, the actress has in the past has said that her child does not want to see any of her films because of one very funny reason.

During an interview with PEOPLE in April, the actress said that her child could have a misconception of the kind of movies she stars in.  Her joke goes like this:  "I said, 'Why do you never want to see one of my movies?'  He answered, 'Because all your movies are black and white,'" she jested to PEOPLE.  I replied, 'Pardon?'"  Come again?  Oh, they are, says he. I die."

He believes 1930 still exists.  Blair explained that he was not joking.  I can say that my son believes that all my movies are black and white movies.

The 1999 movie called Cruel Intentions was viewed by and liked by the kid of Blair.

My son was asked by me, "What have you and your girlfriend been doing this weekend?"  He tells me, we saw Cruel Intentions.  I was not able to make him watch any of my movies, said Blair to PEOPLE in September.

I do, but he will not see.  However, when it comes to a girl, he will watch Cruel Intentions and it is a sexual movie so I said, Oh dear, she said.

She says that her child even copied one of the more suggestive gestures in the film and called her out on it.  She says, Mom, what was that, "because my character Cecile does it," said Blair.  That was a bad thing.  The point I want to make is that it was indecorous.
