Woman Shares Her Lip Filler Removal Process and 'Lip Flip' Procedure: 'It Definitely Hurt Pretty Bad'
Many celebrities such as Kylie Jenner, Brielle Biermann, Farrah Abraham, and Jeff Lewis have declared that they had their lip filler removed in the last years. Blac Chyna has just filmed her experience trying to get rid of her lip fillers and undo all of her plastic surgery procedures, like facial fillers, breast implants, and butt injections.
The trend is already being shared within the social media with increasing numbers of users recording their experiences of having reversed cosmetic procedures.
In January, a TikTok user by the name of Jazzmyn Wollfe took to the platform to demonstrate to her fans the instant her lip filler dissolved.

TikTok has seen a Canadian singer-songwriter Wollfe post a video of filling her lip with filler and having it dissolved using both her lips. After going to an Ontario based facility, Subtly You, to have her lips numbed, she collaborated with Shawna Leifso, a cosmetic nurse injector to perform the procedure.
Lip fillers are hyaluronic acid solutions, which is a natural substance that occurs in the human body, which volumize the lips. Typically they are of 12 to 18 months duration. It is also possible to reverse the process by injecting enzyme, known as hyaluronidase, which degrades the lip filler and deteriorates faster than it would.
She is the greatest girl and Wollfe was gushing with compliments by displaying her lips as she left the clinic exclaiming, "That girl was astonishing." It sure did smart right awful and this side swelled most awfully."
This is normal as the following day Wollfe shared a video of some of the bruises she got following the injections. She added that the big role of the reason why she decided to get rid of her fillers is that she experienced one of the most tipical side effects which was migration.
Migration entails the movement of hyaluronic acid out of the area to be injected thus leading to lip asymmetry or facial deformity. This may occur due to the improper filler administration, over-stuffing the area or post-op care among others.
I used to have lip filler but the most recent time I had it was in 2020. However, in the majority of cases, filler does not just go away, but it tends to spread to different places, Wollfe cautioned her followers.

Lip flip is a typical non-surgical procedure that does not enlarge the volume of lips but only makes them appear larger, as it is the case with lip fillers. As quoted on the Cleveland Clinic, Botox is injected at the corners of the mouth and the edges of the lips allowing the area around the lip to relax making the mouth flip the lip upwards and present an enhanced lip size compared to its natural size.
Lip flips tend to appear more natural compared to the lip fillers.
On TikTok, Wollfe shared that the outcome of her lip flip took about two weeks to appear, and she was so happy with it, that she added a before and after photo.
