The Nigerian Flying Eagles are getting ready for a big game against Argentina in the Round of 16 at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.

Nigeria made it to the next round by getting four points from their three group-stage games: a 1-0 loss to Norway in their first game, an exciting 3-2 comeback win over Saudi Arabia, and a 1-1 draw against Colombia in their last game.
They did well enough to finish in third place as one of the best teams. Argentina, their opponent, has been one of the best teams in the game so far. The South American team beat Cuba 3-1, Australia 4-1, and Italy 1-0 to finish first in their group.

These kids planned their trip to Chile early this year after coming in second place at the South American U-20 Championship.

The Flying Eagles from Nigeria won third place at the last African U-20 Cup of Nations. They will be going up against the hot Argentines to beat them and make it to the rounds.
