Some members of the Senate of Nigeria from opposition parties said that the signs show that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu does not understand the governance of the country.

The Chairman of the Northern Nigeria Senators Association, Abdul Ahmed Ningi who is a member of the ruling PDP party, said that President Tinubu's achievements on the ground have deteriorated because of the hardships the people are going through.

He said: "Bola Tinubu does not understand this country very well, and he does not understand the difficulty of governing a country like Nigeria." I don't see much of his fault because when he was seeking the presidency, there was no promise he made between him and the people, people just turned a blind eye and voted for him maybe because he supported Buhari when he was seeking the presidency, and some others They think he is a Muslim, so support him whether he can or not.

Senator Ningi also alleged that there was no agreement made between the people who came forward to seek the election of Tinubu in Northern Nigeria, and the president, in terms of the plans of work that should be done for the region during his administration.

The chairman of the Northern Nigerian Senators Association also complained about the situation of the opposition in the National Assembly, which he said is happening because of the way the opposition was made to appoint presidents.
