 The police are looking for those who brutally murdered a child in Zaria

The Kaduna State Police has confirmed the discovery of the body of an eight-year-old boy, who was reported missing recently when they went to visit Kwanar Dangoma area in Zaria city.

The spokesperson of the Kaduna Police Force, ASP Mansur Hassan said that their officers were called after seeing the body of the boy abandoned and they saw blood on his body such as eyes, anus and other parts.

On Wednesday, Ibrahim Muntaqa Mohammed, who some say has a brain disorder called autistic, was first seen. And it is said that he was last seen when he left home at around 4pm in Zaria.

He denied the rumors that the child's eyes were gouged out, but he doubted that there was blood in the eyes.

ASP Mansur Hassan said from the information they got the boy went to Zaria for a visit from Kano before this fate happened to him.

According to him, they went back to get information that will help them arrest the people who committed this crime.

He said that so far they have not arrested anyone, but they have already handed Ibrahim Mohammed's body to his parents to dress him.
